What if you had an interactive game built into your app, but YOU didn’t have to build it?

Dollar General wanted a fun, interactive game with prizes, rules, administration – the whole sweepstakes process – but they wanted it INSIDE THEIR EXISTING APP!

RSP worked with their app development team, and after many phone calls and much head-scratching (yeah, this was a worldwide team, we were on calls with like 40 people!), we worked seamlessly with their team and integrated our two platforms. We were able to run games directly from our platform but embedded in their mobile app! Pretty slick.

The Games

Our games were simple match games, but with a big twist – we integrated other brands into the process, so the game became a collaboration between Dollar General retail and brands that wanted some extra visibility.

Players could win prizes and discounts right there in the store. The prizes and discounts were stored in their Dollar General accounts on their apps. If a new player did not have an account, they had to sign up to get their prize, which drove a lot of sign-ups, as you might imagine.
